Dr. Yong Ho Lee

I was born in South Korea and have lived in Vienna since I was two years old. After graduating with honors from the Schottengymnasium, I pursued a degree in human medicine at the University of Vienna. During my studies, I worked for many years as a tutor at the Institute of Physiology. After completing my medical studies, I gained 2.5 years of experience at the Institute of Physiology in Vienna—first as a research associate with a research grant, then as an assistant doctor—in the fields of teaching and research (atherosclerosis). Ultimately, I decided to work with patients in the clinical field of medicine, which is why I began my internship training at the Rudolfstiftung in 2005.

After 10 months of surgery and 4 months of urology as an intern, I received the great opportunity to take up a urological assistant doctor position at the urological department of the KA Rudolfstiftung.

After successfully passing the specialist exam in November 2012, I have been a specialist in urology since March 2013 and was a substitute doctor at the Urology Center for several years. Since the beginning of 2017, I have been a partner at the Urology Center Vienna.
